Update your API key, rename your device, or completely remove the key from the phone.
How to get a free Gemini API key
- Open Google AI Studio and sign in with your Google account.
- Click the blue button 'Create API key'.
- Enter a key name (e.g., 'Ziola Family Assistant').
- Under 'Choose an imported project' select 'Create Project' and name it if you want. Then click 'Create key'.
- Find the newly created key, press 'Copy key', and paste it below.
Got a new phone? Enter the new Device ID (found in the new app) to transfer your lifetime Pro license. The old phone will revert to the free version.
